Charles Schwab to set up tech development centre in Hyd

Hyderabad: US-based Charles Schwab, a financial services giant has chosen Hyderabad to set up its first Technology Development Centre in India.
This announcement was followed by a meeting between Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, and IT Minister D Sridhar Babu Duddhilla with senior Schwab executives, Dennis Howard, Rama Bokka and their leadership team, at its world headquarters in Dallas.
“Charles Schwab is currently awaiting the final approvals announcing detailed insights into their upcoming centre and to delegate a team to India for officially establishing the Schwab Technology Centre in Hyderabad,” the minister said in an official press release.
He further said, “we have committed to guide Schwab through the necessary process for establishing their presence in Hyderabad. We will also support them in access to talent for a rapid ramp-up.”
